Review: Pour moi, ce film n’a pas été un coup de coeur. J’ai insisté, insisté, en me disant que la magie opérerait au fil des minutes. Mais rien ne se produisant, j’ai stoppé le visionnage. Dommage !

Review: Older couple vs younger couple …… and how they influence each other – with sympathy, compassion and … intrigue. Both couples used to live their separate happy lifes until they meet. Great performances, witty dialogues … all in all a great movie.

Review: The film was fun to watch. The ending was disappointing though. I think that the conclusions the protagonists draw are a bit depressing. I do not agree that we all age the same way and I don’t believe that youth excuses being Machiavellian. I also dislike showing the search for Truth as futile.

Review: I bought this DVD for a relative. She is a fan of Naomi Watts, who stars in the film. She told me that, although she enjoyed the film, it wasn’t quite what she had expected. I think that she expected the film to be a bit more dramatic. She also said that she felt that the film was too long, so she probably wouldn’t want to watch it again. However, she said that it was a good film and she thought that Naomi Watts’ performance was very good in it. I haven’t actually seen this myself, so I can’t comment on it, but she told me that I should give it three out of five stars. I think that the DVD will end up in the local CEX shop before too long, though. At least my relative enjoyed it, though, even though she won’t be watching it again. Some films are like that, I guess.

Review: I would have written a different ending. I liked the movie but I don’t really see generation gaps as a big deal. It is just people trying to find their way.
