Title: A tous les fan de Gregori Baquet
Review: Ce film est super une histoire certe un peu difficile a comprendre au depart mais avec des bonne lecon a en tiré concernant aussi bien le rascisme , la sexualité ou encore l’homosexualité. De plus mis dans le contexte des gens des « grandes ecoles » montre que toutes les classes sont concernées. De plus si vous etes fans de Gregori Baquet sont personnage dans ce film est vraiment touchant et Grégori le joue a la perfection.

Title: bonne réalisation
Review: C’est une histoire qui casse les tabous, et c’est une bonne chose. Toute cette vie qui existe que certain veulent ignorer ou condamner. Le réalisateur à mis le doigt où il fallait et il l’a très bien fait avec pudeur et tact. Si l’histoire n’est pas passionnante elle révèle le vie, la vrai vie.

Title: DVD reçu rapidement et neuf.
Review: DVD reçu très bien emballé (emballage soigné) , boîte non abîmée.C’est exactement celui que je recherchais.L’envoi et la réception du colis ont été très rapide, délais plus que respectés.Le DVD est fidèle à l’annonce, état neuf, sous cellophane.Que du bonheur ! Review: Ce DVD Grande Ecole est très bien fait et vous fait découvrir l’univers Université, différence des classes (sociales), sexualité, bisexualité, recherche de son identité. A découvrir Gregori Baquet dans un tout nouveau registre. A conseiller.

Title: Belle histoire…
Review: qui se termine mal! Ce film est tiré d’une pièce de théâtre, ce qui rend parfois les dialogues un peu « théâtraux », et un peu déplacés dans ce film simple et direct par ailleurs. Mais le scénario et les acteurs sont très bons. Mécir, l’amoureux simple et « pur »; Paul, l’homosexuel refoulé s’assumant difficilement; Louis-Arnaud l’égocentrique cynique. Si on ne devait retenir qu’une phrase de ce film ce serait celle de Mécir à Paul : »Hétéro, homo, tout ça c’est dépassé; c’est parce que c’est toi, c’est tout ». Elle fait écho à celle de Montaigne: « C’est parce que c’était lui, c’est parce que c’était moi ». Quelle plus belle définition de l’amour? Et puis, pas de fausse honte… l’acteur Salim Kechiouche est jeune, beau et émouvant, et mériterait à lui seul cinq étoiles. Film à revoir plusieurs fois pour l’apprécier pleinement.

Review: Complex little film, good script, very good actors, many threads happening – the main theme is recognising that one is gay, dealing with it, all the confusion that can easily be part of this scenario and then accepting yourself for who you are. Basically it’s the steps most gay people go through; here the setting is a very bourgeois elite private school in France. So in addition to gay issues, there is also a thread that deals with elite class snobbery versus working class folks.I think many gay people will identify with some of the issues depicted; such as coming out to oneself, exploring same-sex relationship, first-time same-sex sex and coming out to those close to you. There is a very touching first-time gay sexual relationship that is shown and I find the whole experience very believable the way that it is portrayed as well as leading a double-life, hiding your true feelings… again many things that many gay people go through.I enjoyed this film.

Review: Well directed and produced film. The plot is a little confusing – not only the dynamics of bisexuality but the rather contorted plot Paul and his girlfriend have to Paul’s attraction to his room-mate and her « testing » of their own relationship. Even at the end with their last scene I was confused as to exactly what their relatisonhip was all about. Paul’s relationship with Mecir is at times touching and beautiful, at other times it is annoying – and again the last scenes on this are a bit confusing and unsatisfactory. You empathise and sympathise with Mecir a lot and wish Paul would just get himself sorted and stop messing about! This again is where the whole subplot about Paul and his girlfriend and their « peculiar » relationship gets annoying. The implications for the future at the end of the film are also unclear. Is this a happy ending – will it be a happy ending for anyone? The race and class issues are clearly there throughout the film but there is not the strong confirmation that love conquers all that I think we want in this sort of film. Saying all that the actors are physically attractive (if not their personalities) and the film is very well constructed. I enjoyed it but was left frustrated that it seemed to be another film that doesn’t have the courage to go the extra mile and be affirmative with strong characters who overcome the legacy of their upbringing and society.

Review: This is a wonderful film that deals beautifully with same sex relationships while social and racial barriers exist. Although it is set in France, it can apply to all countries where same sex relationships could be curtailed as a result of pressure from the outside. The director deals with the subject in a way that leaves the audience yearning for the two main subjects to solidify their relationship and live happily ever after. I have watched the film many times and with each viewing I learn something new from the rich storyline and screenplay. Also, the DVD extras are very informative and are a useful insight into the minds of the actors and director. I look forward to seeing more films by this director, Robert Salis and also the young French-Algerian actor, Salim Kechiouche.
