Review: La storia vera di Jake Hampton, leader del movimento dei Black Panther, ucciso a soli 21 anni dall’FBI nel 1969, raccontata da Bill O’Neal, il ragazzo che lo tradì. Bill, piccolo criminale minorenne, viene arrestato dopo essersi fatto passare per un agente dell’FBi allo scopo di rubare un’auto ad un gruppo di ragazzi di colore come lui. Per evitare il carcere, accetta di infiltrarsi nel gruppo dei Black Panther e riferire sulle mosse di Hampton. Bill vive in maniera tormentata il suo ruolo di informatore, in quanto consapevole di condividere le idee politiche del gruppo. Sarà proprio lui però a contribuire in maniera decisiva all’uccisione di Hampton, per mano dell’FBI.Molto interessante la storia di questo rivoluzionario( ottimamente interpretato da Daniel Kaluuya) che, dopo le uccisioni di Malcom X e Martin Luther King, portava avanti la battaglia del popolo afroamericano e di altre minoranze, storia sicuramente poco conosciuta in Italia. Da vedere.Consiglio di evitare assolutamente la versione in italiano, impossibile doppiare la tipica cadenza e lo slang afroamericano, se non rovinando lo spirito del film. Sarebbe come far doppiare in un perfetto inglese Gomorra o Montalbano. Spero di avere reso l’idea.
