Review: Angela Thorne does a fantastic impression of Maggie Thatcher complete with handbag and her awful droning voice. John Wells does an equally good character act as her buffoon husband Denis with expressions and actions that are hilarious. If you want comedy that’s British and inoffensive then this makes ideal viewing and is comedy at its absolute BEST!!

Review: Although I have a good command of the English language I found it extremely difficult to understand the actor who played Denis (I passed the Cambridge certificate of Proficiency in English ). All the other actors were no problem. So: I missed subtitles to understand Denis!

Review: Not having seen this since iit first aired on television I miust confess I only bought it out of curiosity to see how it had aged. I was not in the slightest bit disappointed. There are some wonderful lines delivered by a superb cast. There was some hammy overacting by one cast member but that aside it was a pure slice of nostalgic satirical! de!ight.

Review: When this was shown in the eighties I found it very funny, however nos seems very dated, Angela Thornes performance of Mrs T was Brilliant none the less

Review: I went to see this show back in 1982 at the Whitehall Theatre. So pleased to be able to see again. It still made me chuckle
