Title: Image du Blu-Ray sublime !
Review: Mon dieu quel plaisir de redécouvrir ce film extraordinaire en format Blu-ray ! l image est vraiment sublime et Angelina Jolie est toujours aussi classe et y incarne une Lara Croft plus vraie que nature :-Dc’est un film que j’ai vu un nombre incalculable de fois au cinéma et j’ai automatiquement acheter le film à sa sortie en DVD à l’époque, je cherchais le film en Blu-ray depuis un bon moment et je ne suis pas déçue du tout car c est une redecouverte ! sans doute le meilleur film de Angelina Jolie qui s’est investi à fond dans son rôle au point d’adopter la démarche de Lara Croft dans les jeux vidéo : Ola mise en scène et les scènes d action sont phénomènals et le scénario tout a fait conforme a une aventure de la belle, une véritable merveille se film et aussi le meilleur film de Simon West qui a fait un travail fantastique ! bravo a toute l équipe du filmLe 2 em film lui réalisé par Jan De Bont par contre est en dessous du 1 er a tout les niveaux je ne le conseil a personne :- même Angelina Jolie semble être endormi dans le film

Title: un classique à voir et revoir
Review: Rien de tel que de pouvoir revoir ce classique avec la talentueuse Angelina Jolie.Ce film reste indémodable et j’ai eu le plaisir de pouvoir le faire découvrir à ma fille de 8 ans qui a directement accroché également.Ce film reste un film de super héros avec des prouesses sportive et des décors à tomber le souffle, pour celui qui chercher du réalisme vous ne serez pas servi mais pour celui qui a envie de s’évader une heure dans un monde ou une femme super balèze gère le monde c’est top.

Review: Angelina Jolie plays Lady Lara Croft, taken from video game heroine, she lives in a mansion, Noah Taylor lives nearby and programs dangerous robots to test her, exciting sequence first in the movie as she battles the dangerous robots. Her father played by real life father Jon Voight has disappeared but left her with clues to find a mysterious piece that can change space and time, she discovers a hidden clock and finds a piece. Ian Glenn is one of the leaders of the Illumenati a dangerous group that also wants the pieces. Daniel Craig, James Bond assists the bad guys. Exciting sequence when the Illumenati invade her home, great sequence as she bunji ballets to fight the enemy. She travels to East and there is a great sequence in a temple where the statues come to life and battle the invaders. She travels to Antarctic with Glenn, Craig to discover the devices that change space and time and eventually battles for supremacy. Jolie did 2 Tomb Raiders films and this is the better of the 2, Raider was made into another film with another star. Lots of extras and Jolie is excellent as Tomb Raider.

Review: Incredible movie. The acting was good, not Oscar material, but not average either, and better than most pure action movies. The sceneries were breathtaking, incredible. The directing fantastic. There was understated humor and fast fast action that left one almost breathless.At first I had reservations about Angelina being Lara Croft, but after watching the DVD, all reservations went out the window. She was born to play this role. Angelina did her own stunts, thank you very much, which adds more to the film (no having to pull back shots with a double).Yes, Angelina did an accent, it wasn’t a heavy one, or a stereotypical one where you could say « it’s welsh for sure » or « it’s Scottish for sure ».. but you know, I know in reality many people in this melting pot world where their accents are not very clear as to what accent it is they have. That’s reality. She did a great job with it and made it seem more real to me (than some heavy-handed accent, or some too perfect accent, or some stereotypical accent). I could understand every word she spoke.And maybe the one reviewer was too focused on Angelina’s great body and so didn’t noticed that there really was a plot. Not a deep, filled with twists and undercurrents and many subtexts plot, but a good plot, one that actually did have some subtexts and some thought-provoking aspects to it, if one was willing to look for it. The movie has, then, layers to it, like a good archaeological dig :-). Having said that, yes, the plot wasn’t a 5* plot, but sheesh, do they all need to be? Diversity is great, and sometimes a decent average plot with some INCREDIBLE action and scenery (and not just Angelina scenery) is a very good thing. One does not live off of Shakespeare alone.For those who say the camera was too much on Angelia (as if that could be possible ) were either not watching the movie I was watching, or that they were so captivated by her that they didn’t notice the incredible landscapes and panoramas that were presented to them. That’s not the fault of the movie that some viewers are feeling guilty for gawking at Angelina so much that they couldn’t tell you what the movie was about or that there were some fabulous direction going on with the photography. Is it wrong to have a beautifully photographed movie have a beautifully photographed star? Not in my book. This movie is a must see, must have, must buy.
