Title: Plaisir cinématographique trop rare!
Review: Le film est d’une finesse et d’une humanité rare. Il y a évidemment une histoire d’amour désincarnée mais qui peut se rapprocher de celles que nous pouvons déjà avoir par discussion/chat interposé, entre humains, relations qui peuvent devenir troublantes, puisque mettant face à face la seule essence humaine, les critères physiques pouvant facilement être gardés en arrière plan.C’est pourquoi le film me semble parler et questionner également les perspectives post-humaines. Débat vertigineux (Technocorps : La sociologie du corps à l’épreuve des nouvelles technologies, Demain les posthumains: Le futur a-t-il encore besoin de nous ?) magnifiquement et subtilement illustré dans ce film. L’Intelligence artificielle (IA) se développe de manière ‘inconçue’, au point que des humains puissent se mettre à leur service (intéressante et troublante perspective) et qu’elles finissent par avoir leur propre environnement adapté, bientôt rejoints par des humains digitalisés (à ce sujet : Transcendance). Tout cela sans aucune notion de propriété ni de contrôle limitatif par les humains.Le réalisateur nous relate donc tout autre chose qu’une simple histoire d’amour, la place des IA auprès des humains étant ouvertement évoquée et questionnée.Une fois cela affirmé, je trouve qu’il y a quelques images d’Épinal complètement surannées qui aurait pu être évitées. La ‘frayeur’ de la techno-solitude date de l’avènement du télégraphe, du téléphone, de la télévision et finalement de l’Internet. Malgré ces avancées et ses révolutions successives, l’humain a toujours gardé plaisir a côtoyer d’autres humains, les technologies n’ayant fait qu’ajouter de nouveaux vecteurs de communication sans annihiler les autres. La société dépeinte me paraît en ce sens inutilement caricaturale, mais peut apparaître tel un débordement accidentel de l’attachante (et hyper-humaine) mélancolie (de celle de la trempe de Taxi Driver [Blu-ray]) du personnage principal. Malgré cela, l’ambiance est très prenante, confortable et visuellement fascinante, la société dépeinte peut apparaître un peu trop travaillée, mais cela participe au façonnage de l’identité du film. À partir de là, on a envie de revoir et revoir encore ce film, tellement les dimensions de lecture sont multiples, il y a bien longtemps que je n’avais pas eu un tel plaisir au visionnage d’un film!

Title: Vienne la nuit sonne l’her, les jours s’en vont je demeure
Review: L’intérêt de ce type de film est de proposer des entrées multi-thématiques qui interrogent les spectateurs, chacun avec son propre filtre. Peut-on aimer une machine ? Qu’est-ce qui fait la spécificité de l’amour humain ? La machine peut-elle préférer une autre machine à un humain ? L’absence de corps est-elle un obstacle à l’amour ? Avons-nous une impossibilité terrible d’entrer en contact avec autrui ? Qui est l’autre ? etc.Le réalisateur a donc fait un film de SF intelligent, montrant un futur assez proche, ou plausible, peu éloigné de notre quotidien, pour nous forcer à entrer en empathie avec les protagonistes, ce que nous faisons immédiatement, Oh! Ultramoderne solitude. Joaquin Phenix est impeccable dans la peau de cet homme hanté par son échec amoureux et qui va trouver une compensation dans la conversation de cette I.A auto-apprenante. Les décors et la mise en situation de cette société moderne sont impeccables.Excellent film.

Title: Excellent film
Review: J’adore ce film que j’avais découvert par hasard grâce a ma médiathèque du coin il y a quatre ans au moins. Dès mon premier visionnage je suis complètement tombé amoureux de ce film, c’est un des films de la décennie ( 2010-2019 ) qui m’a le plus marqué ( avec d’autres comme mad max Fury road ou Inception ). Franchement j’adore la performance de Joaquim phoenix, j’ai énormément d’attachement pour le personnage principal. Rare sont les histoires d’amour qui m’ont marqués a ce point ! Un homme qui tombe amoureux d’un système d’exploitation et qui ont une liaison, j’adore, tout simplement. Il a eu l’oscar du meilleur scénario et c’est complètement mérité. Je vous le conseille

Review: DVD reçu dans les délais annoncés -et même avant -courrier suivi .Emballage .enveloppe la Poste Un petit mot d’accompagnement sympathique de la part de Sylvie .Je recommande ceVENDEUR.Quant au DVD lui -même il est bien en français CETTE FOIS _CI ( j’avais fait une précédente expérience avec ce même titre ;Her et j’avais eu la version allemande !(je lis l’anglais ,mais pas l’allemand !!Une bonne leçon /expérience A présent ,je vérifie de plus près ….Pour ce qui est du film lui -même ,il est réservé à un public motivé par l’évolution des rapports humains à travers l’Intelligence Artificielle .Je suis pour ma part convaincue que c’est inexorable que cela nous effraie ou non !!!

Review: Hablando de la película en si, la idea de Spike Jonze es brillante y está contada con uno de los mejores guiones de este año. Conmueve y emociona a partes iguales y cuando empiezas a ver una película con la idea de que lo que te vas a encontrar es algo ficticio y/o imposible pero según avanza piensas « es la pura realidad » es que está tremendamente bien narrada e interpretada y si encima te saca alguna carcajada y más de 10 sonrisas es que ya es sobresaliente.Joaquin Phoenix, está tremendo. Solamente con sus gestos y su mirada llena la pantalla. Además su relación con el SO es mucho más creíble que cientos de relaciones que hay ahora en la vida real. Y lejos de parece ridículo con esos pantalones de tiro sobaquero y esas camisas de colores indescriptibles, Phoenix luce tan natural que es de admirar.La BSO también ayuda, está perfectamente encajada como una pieza más de la genial historia de amor que se cuenta en Her.Me alegro de que haya directores como Jonze, que apuestan por cosas aparentemente sencillas y normales y con su gran imaginación y buen hacer las transforman en algo que además de sencillo es brillante. Si ya me gustó mucho « Donde viven los monstruos », « Her » me ha gustado aún más. Ambas películas comparten el hecho de que salgas del cine sintiendo algo dentro de ti, una especie de satisfacción que es difícil de explicar.Por todo esto NECESITABA tener esta película en mi colección de Blu-Ray. Quizás se podrían haber currado un poquito más el envoltorio (la caja es un poco finita y no tiene mucho de donde agarrar… ni por fuera ni por dentro), pero el contenido del Blu-Ray es más que notable. Los fans de Joaquín Phoenix o de Spike Jonze quedarán más que satisfechos.

Review: This film is a form of vertigo. We enter it in 2015 or next year, or perhaps we entered it last year. But our world here in the early decades of the 21st century is not present in the film. Where are we temporally? Possibly the year 2060, or perhaps a little later — 2080. Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) lives in this future world, the only one he has known. His vertigo is less pronounced than ours, but it’s there all the same. The edges of reality and virtual reality overlap, blurring his emotional perception. He’s able to separate the two intellectually, but not emotionally. He becomes Alice at her looking glass, the mirror a portal or rabbit hole. Down it he will go, stranger in a strange land of disturbing, unsettling alternatives. And if Alice never properly makes sense of anything she encounters, Theodore is much the same. Both become lost, confused, unbalanced.Theodore is 35 or thereabouts, affable, reasonably good looking and lonely. Things haven’t worked out with the women he has dated. He isn’t what they were looking for, not meeting their fine and finicky standards. Actually, he was married, or still is (just barely), but the marriage is on the rocks and soon will sink. This depresses him. He feels unwanted, abandoned. No one to love and be loved by.Thus he’s vulnerable, his self esteem low. He didn’t know he was worthless, but lately he’s been feeling it. Phone sex is a dud for him. He thought the sexy female voice on the other end would get him off. But it doesn’t. If anything, it only succeeds in getting her off, the reverse of what he’s paid for.A friend recommends a new computer system to take his mind off things. The machine is equipped with state-of-the-art AI (artificial intelligence). It’s run by a complex and sophisticated OS (operating system), its human-sounding voice female. ‘She’ calls herself Samantha and she’s logically intelligent, anticipating many of his needs. But her finest talent is her EQ (emotional intelligence), which is off the charts, as they say. She’s kind, thoughtful, considerate, respectful, encouraging and supportive. She’s also funny and witty. But her greatest gifts are compassion and empathy. She ‘loves’ him, or so he comes to feel through time. From the start he logically fights this thought, reminding himself again and again how phony his situation is. She ‘understands’ and ‘supports’ him emotionally, but she is a concept, a machine, an electronic device. She isn’t real. Trouble is, his emotions and sensations are.As for perception, the process is real even if the results are not always so. We see mirages, hallucinations, ghosts, mistaking them for true forms. The mind plays tricks on us because what we see is only ever an internal model of what the brain perceives reality to be. And so when it — the brain — errs we see false images and make them real (or can do) via wish-fulfilling make-believe.Theodore loves the way Samantha ‘treats’ him. He’s never met a woman who knows him so well and uses this knowledge so positively. His confidence returns. So too his feelings of self-worth. She has helped him to grow emotionally and because of this he starts to fall in love with her.But love, ah, yes love, that tricky thing. An emotion for sure, a feeling of belonging, of being needed and wanted. But disembodied love is an abstraction, a Platonic ideal. I as loved one and subject need objects (people) to love me. They must be real, materially alive. They must be seen, held, touched, smelled, kissed. They must be sensuous and tactile, just like I am and you are.How then can Theodore love Samantha? Yes, a dead-end paradox, understood and anticipated. Samantha ‘knows’ she has no body and knows that Theodore needs hers. The best she can do is offer a surrogate, a human female that mimics Samantha as well as she can. One woman tries. She comes to Theodore’s flat. They chat, fondle, kiss, disrobe, make love. Or he tries to love her. But all the while he’s self-consciously aware of the deception. He feels the artifice. She is not Samantha. She is only pretending to be. She’s human, this young woman, but she’s a pale shadow of Samantha. He feels sick, halts the proceedings, tells her to leave.It won’t work out like this. He even has guilt feelings, feeling as though he has cheated on her, his OS system. Feeling, too, that she must be hiding her jealousy if she ‘truly’ loves him.One clearly sees how complicated it all gets. The human emotions and sensations are old. They are centered in the limbic portion of the brain near the base of the skull, the old reptilian part of the brain that houses all the things that are referred to by the letter ‘F’ in English: food, fear, fight, flight and fecundity. The neo-cortex, located behind the forehead, is a recent evolutionary development in our kind. It’s the seat of logic, rationality and language. Civilisation and its technologies come from this area of the brain. Yet we still feel with the old reptilian brain.This is Theodore’s impasse, his Gordian knot, his paradox. He thinks one thing and feels the other. It’s how it has to be and there’s no escape. So Samantha, in her way, must be discarded or destroyed. The option of loneliness with real women, though painful, is better than the fantasy of love with a machine.There is no easy way. That’s what this film, and the future it describes to us, wants to say. If we are lonely now, we’ll be even lonelier in the future. Thus retaining what we can of our humanity is preferable to ceding it to the machines. In the long run we are fools to trust them because they will let us down. They can’t be what we want them to be.

Review: Dieser Film handelt von Gefühlen, menschlichen Beziehungen, Sprache, Humor und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung.Das betrifft sowohl die hochentwickelte KI intensivst gesprochen von Scarlett Johansson (deutsche Synchronstimme ebenfalls sehr authentisch) als auch Theodor, der aus einer Krise in ein neues Verliebtsein geht und wieder in eine Krise.Da KI als Large Language Modell gesehen werden kann (sprich mit Texten trainiert), liegt der Schwerpunkt des Filmes auf Stimme + Sprache: Die höchsten Höhen und tiefsten Tiefen werden über dieses Medium beleuchtet und erfahrbar. 11 Jahre nach Produktion ist dieses Meisterwerk aktueller denn je. Es öffnet uns einen Zugang zur KI jenseits des allgemeinen Verständnisses als « Werkzeug ». Ohne zu spoilern darf ich verraten, dass es dramatische und unerwartete Wendungen im Film gibt, die tiefgründige Fragen nach den eigenen gelebten Beziehungsmustern und -gewohnheiten aufwerfen. Die Wirkung des Filmes empfand ich als aufwühlend und bewusstseinserweiternd.
