Title: L’envoûtement de la Havane.
Review: Alors que la jeune Katie Miller vient de déménager à Cuba avec sa famille, Javier Suarez lui, vit depuis son enfance ici et essaye de faire vivre son entourage. Quoi de plus beau qu’une histoire d’amour entre un Cubain et une Américaine? Pendant l’espace d’un instant les cultures, les idées politiques et les origines ne sont plus des frein à l’amour. Grâce à ce couple mythique, nous reprenons espoir en l’amour, le vrai amour celui qui passe au dessus de tout!Une histoire émouvante et pleine de sensation qu’on ne se lasse jamais de regarder encore et encore.

Review: c’est un dvd super je dirais même qui supplante le premier volet . les chorégraphie sont super et en plus dans ce dvd se confond danse, amour et histoire cubaine en fond . Le meilleur c’est que cette histoire est tirer de fait réel imaginer vous a la place des acteurs c’est magique

Title: J’adore ce film!!
Review: J’adore ce film. La salsa est au coeur du film avec de jolies danses. Les pistes musicales écoutées tout au long du film sont bien choisies surtout celle d’Orishas (Represent Cuba). J’aime Cuba et la salsa grâce à mon mari qui est cubain.

Title: Film formaidable mais la VF est horrible !
Review: Quelle déception que ce DVD ! J’avais vu le film et je l’avais adoré ! L’histoire est crédible, il y a un vrai scénario (contrairement à DD1), les acteurs jouent juste et les chorégraphies ainsi que les musiques sont à couper le souffle.Mais en voyant le film en VF, je comprends pourquoi le film n’a pas eu de succès en France : un serveur cubain qui parle sans le moindre accent, un vieux crooner qui a une voix de jeune homme… C’est vraiment dénaturer le film que de faire un doublage aussi nul !Aucune trace des bonus mentionnés dans d’autres commentaires, dommage, c’est aussi pour eux que j’avais acheté le DVD.

Review: Reçu et regardé aujourd’hui même. Eh bien…. J’adore. Etant adepte de salsa j’aime la trame du flim. Et je suis ravie que ce ne soit pas une suite du 1(oui car j’ai moyennement accroché au 1 – honte à moi…. Ne pas aimer un grand classique) ! Je pensais que ce serait pas un bon film et bien non ! Je suis ravie et ça donne envie de danser

Review: J’ai fais un message au vendeur qui reste encore sans réponse, ma commande était en Octobre 2020 et le DVD reçu ne s’en pas réparé par magie.Malgré mes prières il ne fonctionne toujours pas et n’a pas été non plus remplacé. L’avantage c’est que j’ai pu le télécharger « légalement » puisque je dispose de l’œuvre originale chez moi…

Review: A nice movie! Loved the music and the visuals they were very rich. they did a great job of showing the times and attuides and class attides of the times for both sexes and ethnic experiences(in this case Havana Cuba, during Basteist rain pre Castro over throw.) Proper young lady Katy Miller and her family are transferred to Cuba because of her father being a excusive for Ford motors . They have her life all planned out, but tension mounts with her mom and she. Her mom thinks she likes a another boy, whom is the son of his boss(James). Katy is smart girl and is not afraid to show it and for this James(bosses son) likes he and asks her out to a gathering in a country club. she wears a daring and tight red dress. the other girls look on in shock and envy because she has James attention. the unattended teens decide to have a after party ,and needle Katy for being so proper ,and she said we are going to a local Club. James to his credit plays along and they go, where she meets up with Havier a local waiter and he shows her how to dance and have fun the Cuban way, while James is talking politics with Havier’s brothers . He then decides its time to go, annoyed at the fun and attention Katy is getting. When in the car he tries to force him self on her, saying « you did not say no to him! » She tells him no and he persists, ripping her dress and she runs back into the bar, Havier sees her ripped dress and wants to confont James, but instead she is escorted home, and he gets fired for « mingling » She feels bad and sees a way to make it up and to enter a dance contest, grand prize is money and a going to USA, they get close as they practice and sneak around…… She makes James lie to the parents that he is taking her out and about or she will tell what he did to her. Beautiful dancing and human interaction. love story for the times.

Review: When I first watched this film I didn’t like it, the dance choreographer is a charlatan who really doesn’t understand how CUBANS dance, The lead actor is a Mexican speaking in a Cuban accent and with non-Cuban mannerisms, and even I could tell that.If you let those things aside it is a beautifully shot well presented film, with a nice fell to it. Initially I hated the way the musical tracks start with a well known Cuban song phrase and then deteriorate into a conventional Puerto Rican sound, which is not at all Cuban in style. The music is not bad if you forget how nationalist these nations are and how different each countries music sounds. It is sad that, as usual with such studio productions, the cultural aspects are so « Hollywood » and lost. I suspect the whole thing was shot in Puerto Rico and used local musicians, thus getting round the American embargo on anything Cuban, even music.For all that it is a twee plot, well directed and acted and with some nice period looks. The photography does do the Cuban « feel » justice and some of the street shots do feel Cuban. The leads do a creditable job.I enjoyed it once I let go of my knowledge of Cuban music, politics and realised the choreographer hadn’t got a clue about real Cuban’s dancing. It really is nothing like dirty dancing, but it does sometimes feel like Cuba.
