Review: わたしにとって 幻想交響曲はミンシュです。 フルベンの第九と共にこれ以上が無い孤高の演奏です。1963年のカナダでの放送のスタジオ収録です。演奏は『Orechestre de Radio-Canada』でなかなか好演です。有名なパリ管との演奏と 同じ方向性の演奏に思えます。音声はモノラルながら まぁ聞きやすいように思えます。問題は映像です。１カメ？なのか 移動が激しく、特異な映像を狙ったのか？ 演奏と無関係なクローズなアングルが多様されます。本当に興ざめな映像です。評価は ミンシュの指揮が見れたことの個人的な思いです。多分 映像の（監督）評価は星１つでしょう。

Review: The main value of this DVD is a chance to see the youngMarilyn Horne in repertoire she never recorded commercially.Although she seems to take the songs down lower than anyone else andseems to refer to the score quite often, it is a very eloquentperformance, better in the three more reflective songs than in the1st,2nd and 6th where Crespin is unequaled. Although already a bitplump, Horne looks charming and the voice is all that it laterbecame. Both of these are in black and white and in the case of theMunch so fuzzy that unless someone told you , you wouldn’t know hewas conducting. The sound is OK but with this picture, you mightas well buy an audio only recording.
