Le chiot Plucky Reggie (Will Ferrell) pensait que lui et son propriétaire Doug (Will Forte) jouaient à un jeu innocent de rapporter. Ce n’est que lorsqu’il rencontre Bug (Jamie Foxx), un errant dans la rue qui dit que seuls les ventouses ont des propriétaires, que Reggie se rend compte que son misérable maître l’a intentionnellement abandonné dans la grande ville. Avec deux autres chiens qui ajoutent du carburant à son feu à fourrure, Reggie passe de mignon à rusé alors que lui et Bug concoctent un schéma fou pour revenir à Doug et lui donner une grosse bouchée entre ses jambes. La vengeance n’a jamais été cette émeute, ou cette irrévérencieuse, car les singeries hilarantes et absurdes de ces quatre boules de fourrure bouleversent totalement les aventures d’animaux typiques. Oubliez tout ce que vous savez sur le drame « film de chien » car il s’agit d’un voyage de retour à la maison qui est hors de sa laisse et par-dessus.

Review: I expected so much more from this movie. The premise of talking dogs in a raunchy adult comedy sounds like it would be a winner but this flick treads water for 90 + minutes. There are some genuinely funny moments but they are few and far between.Some of the directors and producers making films in this day and age need to understand that swear words kind of lose their humourous edge in this day and age.It was funny because it was shocking back when Lenny Bruce or Richard Pryor were doing stand up comedy, or in the early 70’s – 80’s raunchy teen comedies. Now that certain swear words have become almost part of everyday language, repeating them over and over does not make a scene funny. With a proper effort in scriptwriting this movie could have been really good. Instead, it’s just a lazy attempt at trying to be funny.

Review: This is NOT a movie for children if you don’t want them to hear profanity. For anyone else this film is super funny. It won’t be for everyone however if you don’t give it a try or only listen to critics you probably will miss out on so much in life. Will Ferral plays the main dog who believes his owner is just the best but realizes he’s not. His owner abandons him far far away from home and so he meets other dogs along his way home. They get into so many shananigans along the way and everything is just great. Try it and make your own judgement.

Review: Again, a friend introduced this movie to me. I’m glad that those who created this movie, made it funny, full of crass comments and sexual innuendos ! I love the raw humor in this. I highly recommend this movie.
