Review: Fait de sketches entrecoupés de présentations/animations introduisant chaque « chapître » du film, the Meaning of Life est résolument du côté de l’humour noir et de la dérision…. c’est précisément en cela que le film est sublimeil est un élément indispensable pour la compréhension de ce que sera par la suite l’oeuvre cinématographique de chaque membre du groupe…

Review: On est tout de suite captivé par ce délire flamboyant où l’humour nonsense décapant des monthy python est à son paroxysme. Toutes les institutions y sont irrémédiablement ridiculisées: armée, religion, entreprises, médecins!Ce film, à l’humour plus intelligent qu’il n’y parait fera rire aux larmes celui qui saura entrer dans le monde déjanté des John Cleese ou Terry Gilliam. Un must, à mon avis, de l’histoire du film comique et, qui plus est, tout public.

Review: Que dire à part que ce film est excelent. En effet, il fait passer le quotidien comme une absurdité qu’il est. La vie est ridiculisé, pour être reduit à l’état de comédie. Ce film est avant tout réaliste, quand il est pris au second degrés. Malgrès tout, le premier degres est comique, et le plus comique qu’il soit possible de faire. EXCELLENT. A VOIR
